Although HASP Keys are not necessarily used by HighStone to control all User use of the Application, HASP Key Recognition is included within the core HighStone functions. This facility can be used to provide quick and controlled User Login accounts - and secure encryption of sensitive data files.

Individual HASP Keys can be programmed with User details to provide automatic login when a key is fitted to the system USB port.

Administration Control to program individual HASP Keys is provided within HighStone.

HASP Keys can be used to provide secure encryption / decryption of sensitive data files.

Usage Notes

HASP Keys are individual hardware devices and where deployed a key is required for each User of the system. A single User HASP key can be configured with User details to provide secure and automatic login to any HighStone database that includes the matching User Account within the User records.
Each HighStone Client needs to commit to purchase a block of Hardware Keys specifically configured to their own unique pass codes. The price of HASP HL keys is very dependant of the number of keys being ordered and supplied.
Due to the hardware nature of the keys, operation of HASP Technologies is not available over Citrix, Remote Desktop Connection or other remote operation environments. As a minimum therefore, standard HighStone login control must be maintained in parallel if any of these environments is being used.
